Positional Dignities-The Reading

Look at my revised position meanings with the cards I consider ill-dignified which are designated with [ID] -> the last 3 cards.

ELEMENTS
Fire x 4
Air x 1
Water x 2
Earth x 3

PCM [Pips, Courts, Majors]
Pips x 4
Courts x 3
Majors x 3

Both the Elements and the PCM (Pips, Courts, and Majors) look ok except for the single Air element card - which is the King of Swords.  This is (got to be in my opinion) the 'Focal' point/card in the spread kids - especially in the 'Opposing Factors' position.  Let me lenghten the meaning for Position #2: Opposing Factors to 'Opposing Factors, Things, and/or People'.

Note: I didn't do a Numerology Spread number but you can if you want.

As I pointed out in the PD's (Positon Dignites) tutorial I consider positions #2 and #3 as being Negative Positional Dignities.  These first three cards tell the story in my opinion if read correctly.  None of the first three cards are ill-dignified but since pos #2 and 3 have Negative Positional Dignities this will change the reading dramatically (imo).  Check out the following image and see what you can see.

Note: Position #1 has a Neutral Positional Dignity [NeuPD].

Also, from the left of Positon #2 Temperance (Fire) at pos #1 will strenghten the King of Swords (Air) while the 2 of Cups (Water) has a neutral effect in it elementally.  (Air and Fire are friendly while Air and Water are neutral)

At the Heart of the Matter - We have a person who is spiritually trying to put themselves back together.  Trying to balance and moderate their life into some form/kind of normalcy.  But as you can see from the next two cards in the image in the CC Spread that isn't going to be easy.

Check out the Opposing Factors folks in the King of Swords, along with the Root Cause.  In fact the King of Swords might actually be two people, one nasty and one weak. I'm going to let folks decide for themselves what all this means up to this point.  This is not a cope out it's just meant to make you think.  From here on I'm just going to write down the notes I took until I get to Position #9.

On With the Reading

Dependencies - probably on the King of Swords

#5 Goals/Purpose - 9 of Pents-Earth-NeuPD
Your goal is finding self-reliance and peace of mind.  As the 'Alternative Future' card this may come to past if card #10 can be worked through.

#6  Future- 4 of Wands-Fire-NeuPD
Things will be good after much hard work.  Celebration, a time to rest and kick back is possible.  Probably a move into a new house - or possibly the buying of property.

Note: Both the Future (pos #6) and Alternate Future (pos #5) look good but these will both depend on whether Patty can work her way through the Final Outcome card (pos #10).

#7  Self/Mental State-2 of Pents-Earth-NeuPD
The seeker is juggling so many things at one time she is probably somewhat flustered mentally and stressed out.  You could even read more into this.

Now where did I get this?  Note the following.

Fire and Earth are neutral but poor Earth (2 of Pents) is being heated up pretty good by the Fire cards before and after it.  One of those 'hot enough to fry eggs on' type of thing.  And it's picking up on the ill-dignified Fire of the Strength card.  This is what is meant when people say - it depends on the cards around it!

So try juggling/balancing things over hot coals and you should get the picture.

The next three cards are all ill-dignified kids becase you have Fire-Water-Fire.  Fire and Water are unfriendly, or enemies.  The card before the first Fire elemental card (Strength) is an Earth card (2 of Pents) so lends NO strength to the Strength card, thus making it (Strength) ill-aspected/ill-dignified.  If there had been another Fire card or an Air card in place of the 2 of Pentacles then this card (Strength) would have gained strength from it and been neutral.  But that's not the case.  Patty you may not want to read the following.  Oh go ahead, [grin].

#8 How others see you - Strength-Fire-[ID]-NeuPD
Others see you as weak willed and indecisive and a person who is easily taken advantage of.  This needs to change in order to work through card #10.

#9 Hopes/Fears - Page of Cups-Water-[ID]-Both PosPD and NegPD
Hopes (Positive Positonal Dignity) - to once again be open to love and new relationships.  Having the strength to take risks for and about love.

Fears (Negative Positional Dignity - same card) - Emotionally dependent, fear of love and being vulnerable.

#10 Final Outcome-Queen of Wands-Fire-[ID]-NeuPD
As Mary K. Greer says this is the, 'Witch, bitch, and ball-buster' card.  Vengefulness, frustrated personal growth and ambitions, self-absorbtion, self-righteousness, possibly being a domineering mother.

The domineering mother part might just mean you are keeping your son real close for obvious reasons.

These are things you need to work through in order to attain the promises of cards #5 and #6.  If you do then things should go your way with the child support people but be extremely careful around the King of Swords unless it's your lawyer.  The negative King of Swords  (probably the ex) can't be trusted.

Hopefully I have given folks things to think about.
